21st August 2025 | Official Visit by a Delegation from the University of Ilorin (Unilorin), Nigeria to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Meeting Room, UTM Johor Bahru.

UTM welcomed the official visit from the University of Ilorin (Unilorin), Nigeria, led by the Pro-Chancellor, Surveyor Jacob Abiodun Aluko, together with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdul Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, and three senior management members of the university.

The delegation was received by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International), Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Intan Zaurah binti Mat Darus, representing the UTM Vice-Chancellor, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment & Surveying (FABU), Prof. Sr Dr. Kherun Nita binti Ali, Chief Librarian, Mrs. Khairulbahiyah binti Yaakub, Director of UTM International, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan, and Director of the Corporate Communications Centre, Dr. Farhana Diana binti Deris.

The visit also featured the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) between UTM and Unilorin as an initial step towards exploring future collaboration opportunities and strengthening the strategic relationship between the two universities.
