Call for Papers: International Conference on Globalizing Education

The Centre for International Education, University of Ilorin, invites scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners to submit papers for the International Conference on Globalizing Education: Strategies, Challenges, and Sustainability.

Conference Theme

The conference theme focuses on exploring strategies, challenges, and sustainability in globalizing education, with an emphasis on fostering international collaboration, innovation, and best practices in education.

Sub-Themes

  1. Internationalization of Curriculum: Examining the incorporation of global perspectives, cultures, and values into educational curricula.
  2. Global Trends in Higher Education: Analyzing the impact of globalization on higher education, including international student mobility, transnational education, and global university rankings.
  3. Cultural Diversity and Inclusion: Discussing strategies for promoting cultural diversity, inclusion, and social justice in educational institutions.
  4. Technology-Enhanced Learning: Exploring the role of technology in globalizing education, including online and blended learning, MOOCs, and educational technology innovations.
  5. Global Partnerships and Collaborations: Examining successful models of international partnerships and collaborations in education, including joint research projects, student exchange programs, and capacity-building initiatives.
  6. Sustainability and Social Responsibility: Discussing the role of education in promoting sustainability, social responsibility, and environmental awareness in a globalized world.
  7. Assessment and Quality Assurance: Examining the challenges and opportunities of assessing and ensuring quality in globalized education, including accreditation, benchmarking, and standards.

Conference Format

This is a hybrid conference, offering both in-person and virtual participation options.

Limited Spaces Available: Please note that there are only 50 limited spaces available for in-person participants. Virtual participation is also available, but we encourage you to register early to secure your spot.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should not be more than 100 words  apart from the author ( s) name, institution address, email address and phone. It should be in single spacing and Times Romans 12 font.
